Vince Gassi is a Canadian composer and conductor whose music combines strong musical architecture with a practical understanding of the modern classroom. With more than 100 published works performed internationally, his writing is known for rhythmic vitality, clarity of form, and a deep respect for young musicians as artists in their own right.

He studied at the University of Western Ontario and the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, and later completed doctoral studies at York University in Toronto. For 25 years, Vince taught instrumental music at both the elementary and secondary levels, experience that continues to shape his compositional voice.

A frequent guest conductor, adjudicator, and clinician across Canada and the United States, he presents seminars such as Cool Ideas, Arranging Concepts, Digital Workflows, and Creativity Workouts, all centered on practical creativity and engaged music-making.

His works are commissioned, recorded, and performed worldwide.
