The city never sleeps and neither does the band. Inspired by classic television crime dramas, Just the Facts, Maam! delivers sirens, suspense, swagger, and cinematic excitement in a musical caper full of shadowy melodies, punchy rhythms, stealthy grooves, and chasescene energy. From its opening moments, the music suggests a world of trench coats, ashing lights, late-night stakeouts, and cases that refuse to solve themselves. There is plenty of mystery along the way, but the piece never takes itself too seriously. Beneath the dramatic gestures is a playful nod to the unmistakable sound world of vintage police and detective television, with tongue rmly planted somewhere near its cheek. With its driving momentum, colourful scoring, and fast-moving action, Just the Facts, Ma’am! invites performers and audiences into the case. The evidence is in. The band has the case.

On White and Wondrous Dawn was inspired by The Voyagers, a poem by Lucy Maud Montgomery that celebrates the enduring human desire to seek, discover, and aspire toward something beyond the horizon. Rather than depicting the poem literally, the music reflects its spiritmoving from quiet anticipation through moments of uncertainty, resolve, and exhilaration before arriving at a radiant and uplifting conclusion. Commissioned by the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Orchestra for its 2020 concert tour to Italy, On White and Wondrous Dawn is a symphonic poem that embraces the expressive palette of the modern orchestra while inviting listeners to share in a journey of hope, wonder, and possibility.
